ELC — Educate. Lead. Care.

One name, three intentions

Educate. Lead. Care.

ELC opened in 1997 as the Early Learning Centre and later grew into Educating for Lifelong Citizenship. Today the same three letters also hold a simpler idea, one that sits over everything we do, in our school, in the journeys we host through NEAT Bhutan, and in the welcome we extend to every guest: Educate. Lead. Care.

Educate

Learning that is a holistic education of the heart, head and hands, for our students and for everyone who visits.

Lead

Leading ourselves first: empowering children, educators, guests and leaders from the inside out.

Care

Caring for ourselves, for one another, for our community, and for our planet — care as empathy, kindness, compassion.

At ELC, our unique integration of holistic education and immersive travel turns every visit into a meaningful exchange.

As a guest, you get the rare opportunity to step directly into a vibrant Bhutanese school, experience our signature wellbeing culture firsthand, and discover the true heart of Bhutan through authentic, everyday connections.

For our students, every visitor who walks through the doors brings the world to our doorstep — an incredible opportunity to share their culture, practice real-world communication, and build lifelong global confidence.
